About Patrick Harty, MD
Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist | Vascular & Embolization Expert
Dr. Patrick Harty is a nationally recognized interventional radiologist with nearly two decades of experience in innovating outpatient care for Knee Pain. Following his role as the Chief of Interventional Radiology for one of California's largest medical groups, Dr. Harty moved back to Omaha to introduce his "patient-first" outpatient model to the MIC Medical Imaging Consultants.
An alumnus of Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. Harty’s career is noted for his expertise in vascular systems. He is a leading figure in Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE), a sophisticated, non-surgical method initially focused on chronic internal hemorrhoids. Dr. Harty employs similar precision-guided embolization techniques applied in complex arterial conditions to address the needs of those with Knee Pain, offering a "no-cut" alternative to traditional surgery.
Dr. Harty’s approach is anchored in innovation and education; he disseminates vascular techniques on both local and national stages. At MIC, he uses this knowledge to offer Omaha patients a discreet, office-based procedure that eliminates both the necessity for general anesthesia and the uncomfortable recovery often associated with hospital-based treatments.
Education: Georgetown University (BA), Creighton University (MD & Residency), University of Illinois (Fellowship).
Specialties: Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE), Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), and Venous Thromboembolic Disease.
