John Lee, MD

John Lee, M.D. is a fellowship-trained, board-certified specialist in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular medicine. He possesses a comprehensive range of skills in addressing knee pain, with a strong background in advanced medical imaging and assessment, supporting treatment and management strategies for conditions affecting the knee joint.

Dr. Lee graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, where he was commended with the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in Chemistry. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Southern California – Keck School of Medicine, where he received the distinguished Stanley J. Sarnoff Endowment for Cardiovascular Sciences.

He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, then continued with clinical and research fellowships in cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Subsequently, he pursued an interventional cardiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute, Baylor College of Medicine/St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital Program in Houston.

Dr. Lee has been honored twice with the Tibor Fabian Research Award from UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine STAR program. He holds the title of Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
