Kamal Morar, MD, MBA

Dr. Morar holds board certification as an Interventional Radiologist, having received his training at the Cleveland Clinic. With over twenty years of clinical expertise and more than 30,000 image-guided procedures executed, his specialty lies in minimally invasive, catheter-based treatments — especially embolization techniques — which permit physicians to address complex vascular issues within the body using advanced imaging guidance.

In relation to knee pain, Dr. Morar employs these precision-based methods to assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and managing related conditions. His proficiency in embolization and vascular therapies allows for targeted treatment strategies that can minimize complications, enhance recovery periods, and reduce the necessity for more invasive surgeries.

Dr. Morar exhibits a long-term dedication to the progression of interventional radiology, having been one of the United States' pioneering physicians to publish studies on embolization techniques as far back as 2005. He has spent upwards of 18 years developing and managing outpatient interventional radiology practices in Ohio, continuing to influence the discipline through teaching roles, serving as part-time faculty at the University of Cincinnati, and providing clinical services at regional hospitals.

Outside his clinical endeavors, Dr. Morar engages actively in global healthcare initiatives, aiding in the development of medical infrastructure and enhancing access to interventional radiology services in underserved areas. He is a lifetime member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and has participated in various educational committees focused on promoting awareness of minimally invasive treatment alternatives.
